Loving God.  Loving Others. Serving Both

Grace – The first part of our name serves as the sole basis upon which we are able to live presently and eternally in right relationship with a Holy God who loves us. As a church, we exist to see God receive the Glory He deserves and  people brought into life-transforming relationship with Him, through the lovingkindness He has shown us manifest in the sacrifice of His Son Jesus.

“Community” is our middle name. The God we worship is a triune God, who has existed eternally as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Bearing the image of God, mankind is called to and built for community. Although each Christian believer has a personal relationship with God, that relationship is neither individual nor private. We were made for community, manifest both in relationship with God and with each other.

The local church is not merely a place that we attend but a people and a family to whom we belong. Leading people into an intimate and growing relationship with Jesus Christ is our clear mission. We believe that an authentic church culture displays acts of compassion and speech that both honors God and encourages others. In direct response to God’s lovingkindness shown to us, we believe in reaching beyond our walls to directly meet the needs and address the hurts of those in our communities.

Sing to the Lord, for he has done wonderful things.
Make known his praise around the world.

Isaiah 12:5

As a body, Grace is characterized by a desire for God’s presence over program, passionate worship without regard for time, and a spirit of family and community with faith in the miraculous.

Celebrating nearly 40 years of ministry, Grace began as a prayer meeting in the living room of founding Pastors Chuck and Sharon Giacinto, and has since blossomed into a fruitful church family and passionate community of believers that not only offer a diverse array of ministries, but also is a haven for the arts and worship.

At Grace Community Church, it is our belief that church not only be a place to gather together to worship, but that it also be a place where you can get involved in a community of believers who are passionate for the things of God. Each service incorporates the gifts and talents of many as they utilize their abilities in service to God. We make every effort at Grace Community Church to provide both an atmosphere and a platform for you to not only attend church, but to serve God and others with your unique giftings.

WE BELIEVE:The Scriptures of the Old and New Testament (the Bible) to be the divinely inspired Word of God, and to be the supreme and final authority in faith and conduct.

WE BELIEVE: In the Deity of Jesus Christ, His pre-existence with the Father, His virgin birth, His substitutionary, sacrificial death, His bodily resurrection, ascension and second coming in great power and glory.

WE BELIEVE: The only salvation afforded the soul of man is by Jesus’ blood and through His name, by God’s grace through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ and that it is a gift from God. Therefore, we believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin.

WE BELIEVE:In a literal Heaven and Hell.

WE BELIEVE:In the Triune God, eternally existent in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE:In water baptism by immersion as demonstrated in the New Testament.

WE BELIEVE:That the baptism of the Holy Spirit is for all, and that the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and the miracle power of God are for today, empowering the believer to be a witness and anointed servant of God.

Serving God and Serving Others

God’s presence is the goal. That said, while worship is very much about music, and involves music, it is not all
about music. Corporate worship is the
culmination of a personal life steeped in worship. Music is a powerful tool that engages both the heart and mind in a way that allows us to fully express our wholehearted response to His love. That is why we have made praise & worship such an integral part of every gathering at Grace.

Our youth  ministries are uniquely designed with each age group in mind. At both Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services, youth (nursery through senior high) gather separately to experience age-appropriate activities, teachings, fellowship and fun where the Bible is taught in creative and relevant ways by dedicated and faithful leaders.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program that helps anyone overcome life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits, including addictions and undesirable behaviors. CR meets every Monday night beginning with dinner at 6:00pm and meeting at 7:00pm at Grace. Everyone is welcome.

The LANDING is Celebrate Recovery’s group for teenagers (ages 12-18) who may struggle with life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits. They meet separately from the adults every Monday night.

More than just a ride to church…
Every week, our dedicated team of volunteers visit families in our community to forge relationships and
meet needs. Each Sunday morning, our dedicated team brings both children and adults to church and delivers them home after service with a prepared sack lunch. Because the bus ministry incorporates the teamwork of various ministries working together, this ministry serves to support the core vision of Grace Community Church.
